Every year the company "Pantone" comes out with the colour of the year.  Last year we were graced with a unique twist of incorporating two colours; Rose Quartz and Serenity.  We were in love with 2015's pantone of Marsala and are even more excited about this year; Greenery.

"Greenery" symbolizes new beginnings and a fresh take.  It also ties in very nicely with our region in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.  You can use subtle hints of greenery, or add large feature pieces with greenery intertwined.  Here are a few pictures we love that resemble greenery to us, as well as some words from the Executive Director of Pantone.

Clusters of Arabian chandeliers provided by Orange Frog Productions were accented with heavy greenery for a soft romantic feel.  This was the perfect addition for transforming the Great Husky Hall at the Banff Centre

The Mt Stephen Hall at the Fairmont Banff Springs is the perfect place for a castle-like long table.  Adding an elaborate greenery and floral runner created by Fabloomosity made a stunning impact and really enhanced the subtle decor pieces.  Photo Credit- Andras Schram Photography

Do you love candelabras as much as we do?  Adding greenery to your candelabras and centrepiece items really elevates them and adds softness throughout.  Photo credit- Brittany Esther Photography
